Marine Digimap is part of the Digimap Collection of on-line mapping and data delivery facilities. Users are able to view maps through their web browser, save them for printing and download the marine and coastal data for use in GIS (geographical information systems).

Raster Charts is a raster GeoTIFF rendition from official International Hydrographic Organisation (IHO) chart producers. Raster Charts are derived from paper charts and chart panels, captured at the scale of compilation, and geo-referenced to the local coordinate reference system. These charts are ideal for general reference and backdrop mapping but are NOT for navigational use. The charts cover a broad range of scales, which fall into these internationally recognised usage bands:

The Marine Themes Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is a seabed surface model, comprising detailed and accurate data of the seabed.
The dataset utilises the most recent commercial single and multi-beam survey and lidar data available, with chart-derived data providing additional coverage.

Institutions who wish to access to the service will be required to pay an annual subscription and sign a licence agreement.
Marine Digimap is available free to all staff and students within a subscribing HE/FE institution. Individual user registration is required.
